The first Para 3 I bought was a gift. I handled it a bit and thought it was cool, but it went on. I was sniffing around for one of my own and bought one on the secondary with some aftermarket scales pre-installed. In my carry practice, it kinda fits into a strange void. It's a little short for a knife I want to have in my front pocket but its height makes it slightly uncomfortable for backpocket carry. So that's something I'm still working out. I also haven't quite figured out left handed compression lock manipulation. But, I still love it for what it is. I hope to get its bigger brother into the fold but I can still have a pretty effective Spyderco carry with it and the Manix 2 LW.

I also have the Para 3 with Blk DLC Ti Flytanium scales along with Red Ti Hardware purchased from the same person as you from Etsy. Knife looks fantastic! But my main carry is the TRM Atom w Textured TI scales. I do have alot of other great carries, but i can't get my Atom out of my pocket the past 3 months 🤷‍♂️

I thought spyderco was ugly garbage but I got a tenacious off Amazon on sale and now im in i get why people love spyderco so much now im debating on either the para 3 or pm2

Sorry, I hate your p3, but it's yours and gives you what you want from it, and that's cool. I only switched the clip for a more elegant Lynch one and it's the ideal knife. Shoutout to cpm s45vn tho, it's seriously underrated and in the top 5% of all current blade steels for edge retention.

Guys, I bought a Para 2 and I love it. But I’m intrigued by the Para 3 and I am thinking about buying one as well. Is that stupid and redundant to have both of them? I am just worried that it is too small for my hands because Para 2 fits me perfectly.

I had 2 & kept 1. I prefer the sage 5 handle. My pinky falls off the end of the para 3 but it’s a good knife. PM2 is better but still good

Yeah on Spyderco’s heat treatment. Even their more budget-minded VG-10 variants can go toe to toe with a lot of Chinese S30V knives. Those silly do dads on your example are pretty stupid IMO but to each their own.

Bought a para 3 and para 2. Para 3 is just too small. Like the para 2 so much better. Because of your vid I'm currently rocking a para 2 with: s90v, flytanium lotus scales, flytanium tritium green lanyard plug, titanium screws, custom pocket clip that has the lines like the scales, 5x5 wave, wise men company aluminum signet ring, the whole thing is silver colored and stonewashed. It may have cost 500-600 but I can now switch out to any blade or any part, and always have a premium beater knife.

I have 2 both with DLC blades
one in Black G10 with a red aftermarket deep carry clip with a S45vn blade
And one with a Cruwear blade and purple G10.
They are very good especially if you live in or near places with blade length restrictions.
