I have a crazy story haha. I build this castle back in February 2020, right before going abroad for internship. I went with a classmate and showed her this castle after which we started talking about minecraft and how we should play together sometime. Of course covid happened and once home we created a server with her boyfriend. It's on that server that we invited more friends and became a friend group, and where me and my best friend met. The two of us instantly clicked.. We're now together for almost 6 months and couldn't be happier, all because of that one castle that sparked an idea. Thank you!!😊

Best castle tutorial I’ve seen!
I ended up not texturing it because it actually looked better with just the stone bricks in my opinion. It looks “heavier” if that makes sense, line the building is sturdier. Also it feels more medieval to just leave it as stone bricks but that’s just me 🤷‍♀️
If it was actual stone I definitely would’ve textured it 😅

I really like this castle! It looks awesome, and when I looked at the play list, there was an interior tutorial! That had me sold. I have a really hard time with interiors, especially with large builds, so that made me really happy!

Tip for anyone wanting to build this in survival. Scan through the video first before building that section. Somethings change as the video progresses. I built this in survival and I hated having to go back and rebuild a part I just finished

Edit: Forgot to say how much it is worth it to build this. It's an amazing build and it's so rewarding to finish

OK, I started this (after I built it on creative) on survival on the first of june. VEEERRRRYYYY challenging. tip for anyone trying this on survival - save lots and lots of dirt. that will be your scaffolding. another thing I noticed. DO NOT bring a bed when you are up high. for some reason MC (at least bedrock version) will not port you back to your bed if you die high up. I ended up way over someplace else. took me hours to find my way back!!! so at the time of this writing - on Part 2 one month later LOL!!! I was also building some farms too. tempting to turn on cheat mode.

I am so excited for this build! It will be my biggest (most complex) build ever. I've only been playing Minecraft since just before the great quarantine of 2020 lol.
