From someone who went from having a library in my room to transitioning to video game collecting, this is the 1 advice I can give: Collect quality and what you actually enjoy over quantity. It is so much nicer looking at your collection when it's filled with stuff you are fond of as opposed to items you have no connection or feeling towards.

One thing I can’t stress enough is don’t compare your collections to others. Everyone starts small so don’t tell yourself your collection is “worse” than someone else’s just because they have more volumes, or the more popular series. A small collection with series you love is more important than a large collection with series you don’t enjoy.

Thank you for the tips! I completely agree with reading the series online first. It has helped me figure out if I enjoy the series to conmmit to purchasing the physical copies and if I have enough space to complete the whole series. Great video. Keep up the great content!

I’ve always liked the idea of reading one completed manga and one ongoing. I’m currently reading Berserk along with 20th Century boys as I’m waiting for more volumes of Gachiakuta & Kagurabachi. It’s nice to have something else to jump straight back into at times when you need a break from a story. Some stuff I enjoy reading inline with the anime release to see the differences between the two like Sakamoto days!
