My first deck was the Thoth, some thirty years ago, and it's still my main reading deck. I'm from Europe, from a place where at that time RWS didn't have the absolute dominance it has today :-) and it took me years to even start getting interested in the RWS system.

I found that the art of the Thoth is so strong and expressive that no matter how much you know about all the esoteric teachings depicted, you can read with it. The Thoth is like a teacher - once you start loving it, you want to discover more about astrology, kabbalah and alchemy. I'm glad I started out with the Thoth and its incredible layers of meaning.

I fell in love with tarot because of Robin Wood deck. When I saw the Magician I was like oh well I guess I'm getting into tarot 🤣
It's still my favourite alongside Hanson Roberts. There's a special place in my heart for these two classic beauties.

Great video! My very first deck was the Oracle Tarot by Lucy Cavendish. No court cards...easy to read. After that I was hooked and now have over 170 ☺️🌺

Just wanted to tell you I'm using the Modern Love Tarot for my relationship readings on my livestreams and people are commenting how pretty they are and more and more people start asking for " relationship" or " relationship and general" readings lol because they want me to use your cards. They really make nice readings. So much depth. Really a great tool. I use it at least half the time. So it's the deck I use the most.

Oh yay. So glad the Hanson-Roberts deck is there, that was the deck my Nan gifted me like 25yrs ago. I don't use it for readings but if ever need a bit of spiritual Nan guidance for myself I will draw card 😊 I also LOVE the Light Seers aka the hot man deck haha
