Power Rangers: Mighty Force REVIEW

Power Rangers Mighty Force is an "idle battle" mobile game developed by Vancouver, British Columbia-based East Side Games and Mighty Kingdom under license from Hasbro. Set in the original continuity, players engage in RPG-style simulation combat as Power Ranger teams of their choosing while following an original story featuring Rita Repulsa and her evil minions. It was soft-launched for Android in select regions March 20, 2024. A completed version was released to currently active beta players on June 6, 2024. It has not yet been deployed for general availability.

Players will fight RPG-style battles using custom teams as they work to build a simulation of Angel Grove, liberating the city from various monsters and gathering Morph-X to battle Rita's forces as bosses. Most battles drop loot crates filled with supplies and character unit upgrades. The player can also use in-game currency to purchase gacha-style crates for new allies and gear.

I just don't understand why someone doesn't make a Marvel: Ultimate Alliance style Power Rangers game. Both older and younger crowds would eat something like that up!

Would play Legacy War more but I'm not a fan of it since it's all PVP. That game could benefit from having a fully fleshed-out PVE story mode.

There’s a fan made game that’s being mad that I am very intrested in playing it’s a beat em up style game which I think is best genre for power rangers

Legacy wars is still fun. Mighty force does get boring after a couple plays

I like that it’s basically just a 2-D version of Power Rangers Dino charge rumble, just with mainly mighty Morphin, and other seasons as well.

I really don’t have any hope for this franchise anymore man. I used to love it. I used too. But…It’s not innovating. They could’ve done something great, they could’ve adapted and kept their own spin on things, or made original stuff. But the new suits aren’t good, even the comic original ones look horrid, they look like a Donbrothers ripoff.

Kamen rider, super Sentai, all other Tokusatsu has been innovating. And their last show runner wanted to distance themselves away from the genre. I hate makes it so special…It’s so…So scummy honestly. I don’t know what else they want.

I really like this game but I’m a big fan of a lot of idle games. Unfortunately there’s a lot of bad with the so called PvP, the battles I think are fun otherwise. The fights get very strong pretty fast though so it’s not perfect and I focused enough on the weapons to really make good use of all the rangers yet. I’d like to grind up on it and see what I can do eventually even if it just becomes an infinite level grind.

Played this game for only 2-3 weeks and spotted some of the obvious issues that others brought up on reviews on Google Play. Besides gameplay mechanics, P2W and constant server issues and restarts, it is VERY CLUNKY.

The only good Power Rangers video games are all of the 90s MMPR games except MMPR Movie GB and Sega CD. Other good ones are Wild Force, Dino Thunder GBA, SPD GBA and Legacy Wars. All other Power Rangers games suck, especially the ones with Quick Time Events which do not translate well in any PR game.
