Comon people, whats wrong with you? What do you expect? a multi-millon Marvel or DC movie? This is a gift for the fans that grew up watching this. This is a low cost, low budget proyect and they did it for us as a way to say thank you. We dont care about CGI or perfect dialogues, we just wanna escape for an hour and feel like we felt in the 90's. Critics nowadays expect perfection and what they dont know is that Power Rangers was far from perfect, and that's what it made it magical.

Anyone else shed a few tears at the end when the dedication to Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank popped up? This was definitely very Power Rangers in its execution. Just a bit updated considering the CGI and Graphics of the 1990s Power Ranger era XD

Honestly this power rangers special was made for the older fans just because it basically took things to the next level. Things you weren’t allowed so much back in the day like blatantly mentioning someone died or rangers actually using their weapons more realistically and actually hitting the enemies. On top of that, putties and hence Monsters actually being a bit more competent than usual, a villain wanting to completely eradicate the power rangers from existence. This was the most serious and emotional power rangers content in like…ever!

Still going to enjoy the hell out of this, Wouldn't mind seeing Billy and Zack come back to do more Ranger Content, they were always my favorite in the OG series.

In my opinion this is everything we hoped and wanted. The Chessy and campy plot and dialogues are in the core of what MMPR was.
