Just so people know: the movie and book is called bridge to the terabithia. Very emotional story and movie. And here’s an explanation: so there was a a boy that lives in like a farm or something. He goes to school one day and finds out he has a new student. Surprisingly the new student lives next to him. One school day when he was coming back home, he assumed that the girl was following him but she was just going home.they talk a little bit and have a race. They find this river and see a rope tied on a tree. They cross the river with the rope by swinging. And more happens. A very long story but I’m just explaining the important parts. So one day when the boy needs to do something (I forgot lol) the girl goes and crosses the river alone when it rains. The next morning he found out by his parents that his friend passed away. So thats basically it. Took me a long time to write so all u can do is just like. And yes, I like my own comment.

Their connection was like a brother/sister bond that they had with each other. To him, he wasn’t any “friend”, she was a best friend to him and was like a sister to him. That’s the sign of a true friendship/bond between two best friends.💞

Bridge to terebithia is and forever me my favorite movie and the first and only movie that has ever made me cry. No just tear up, like actually cry. Reminds me of me and my first "girlfriend" who passed away when we were 9 by drowning after falling off some rocks. Im 22 now and man i still think of her often.

For those who want to know the story, him, the boy, had a little sister and she became leslies best friend untill they met him. The boy and leslie became best friend, it was like they were family. Leslie always took him to the forest to play on the swing and go in their treehouse. Until leslie fell of the swing and died😢😢
