hi, thanks so much for this video! i was just wondering, do you still get the marks if you just use the simul equation solver in the calculator and don't write down your working if you use the coefficient method?

for the first question of this topic in the edexcel book the value of A is 0, i was confused when i got this so checked the markscheme and it said A=0. how can that be? it would be a fraction as 0 as the numerator and 0 divided by anything but 1 is unknown

14:49 when i sub x=-1/2 into (x-1)2 I get 1/4C instead of 9/4C? so wouldn't C be 9
