White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and National Security Council coordinator for strategic communications John Kirby held a briefing on Monday after the U.S. military shot down an unidentified object over the Great Lakes region on Sunday, the third object downed over the U.S. and Canada in as many days and the fourth this month. President Biden ordered the object be shot down out of an abundance of caution and there was no indication that the object had surveillance capabilities, a senior administration official told CBS News.

This really doesn't make sense, because they know what's in the sky. Schools and University and weather research centers cannot just launche stuff without telling them about it. They have transponders in them, so to say plenty of people on stuff all the time is complete nonsense

I wish reporters would ask how fast these objects are flying and how they are moving through the air. It takes a propulsion system to fly and stay in the air. What is the type of propulsion? Is it propeller or jet?
