I spent my childhood watching my mom getting hit and furniture broken and then as I entered my team years I became the punching bag when I tried to save my mom from the beatings. One time my 9th grade teacher came to our home to see why I wasn’t at school that day and she saw the physical evidence of what happened the night before. No one to call no one to help. This was 1964/65. And when I had enough and ran away they put ME in Juvenile Hall!
So Mr President I am so thankful that you helped save my mom from this my step dad but I didn’t come soon enough for others. I am 75 and became a democrat in 1992 and will proudly vote for A blue wave again this year

As Ms. Jean-Pierre begins this press brieding, I'd just like to say that I thought David Muir and Linsey Davis did a GREAT JOB the other night in their audition for Substitute Biden/Harris Press Secretary. They proved that they could aggressively defend the current administration without losing their cool. :) So, if Ms. Jean-Pierre ever needs a vacation, Mr. Muir and Ms. Davis are ready to step up! :)

Cats and dogs: The idea that one particular group if peoples ( usually immigrants of some kind) has been “eating cats and dogs” is an Unfortunate Urban Legend that has been floating around for 50+ years. The first time I heard this Sad Urban Legend I was maybe 18 years old..I’m now 70 so that’s over 50 years. In every case where this Urban Legend has been spread it has proved untrue. It is a sad Urban Legend that is usually spread by children, pre teens and young teens. In the sad racist Urban Legend any group that might be targeted by the children has some difference from the mainstream either in manner of dress, language or other behavior. Various groups Tharp t have been targeted by this sad urban legend include: (please understand I am not justifying this legend in any of these cases, and all claims have been debunked. This is just a list for information purposes and to show the vast variety of peoples that have been associated with this children’s tale) Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Hindi, Buddhist, Phillipinos, Cubans, Mexicans, Midfle eastern peoples of all varieties, Russians, Africans even Old People, Hasidic Jews and the Amish. Again these in all cases were false claims spread by children. As Urban Legends go, this particular one falls under a group that could be called Modern Ghost Stories. Others in this group include the legend of ‘Bloody Mary’. ( An Urban Legend that goes : if you stand in a dark room and spin around 3 times in a circle saying the words ‘Bloody Mary’ that when you’re done a ghostly spirit will come out of the mirror). These Urban Legend Children’s Ghost stories are intended to be mildly scary and not terrifying. They usually enjoy increased popularity in the months of September and October. In other words in the months preceding Halloween. They are children’s ghost stories intended to be slightly scary and ( until this year) relatively harmless. Unfortunately this year, that has always been the case. However, this year a story told by a (child) friend of a (child) friend of a (child) friend made its way to JD Vance, Maga, and finally to Donald Trump and was taken by them, in their incredible gullibility, to be real true stories instead of the Children’s Urban Legend Ghost Stories that they are. They’ve fallen for a Child’s Halloween Prank! And now what we have is something that seems to be developing into the Panic that came with the Orson Wells War of the Worlds radio broadcast…where people believed the broadcast as true events and thought there were real Martins from Mars coming to get them! Well, sorry kids, there are NO Martians coming to get you and these (sad) Childrens Halloween Urban Legends Ghost Stories are totally Untrue!! There is NO ONE coming to eat your cats and dogs. And Congratulations Donald Trump you’ve been Pranked by an untrue Childrens Ghost Story Urban Halloween Legend! This is a 50+ year old stupid child’s Urban Legend … a Halloween tale! And to you, Donald Trump………….BOO!
