Acting *blind and dumb, * are we? The food aid organization *_tipped_* the Israelis off about their mission and whereabouts to ensure deconfliction. It *marked* its vehicles in large banners, including on vehicle roofs, and *did "everything* it could" to keep the Israelis in the loop. Mr. Kirby still pronounces the _serial_ Israeli airstrikes on humanitarian vehicles as "a mistake." He claimed that he "didn't want to get ahead" of the investigations into _Israeli actions_ by the _Israelis._ Isn't describing the attacks as "a mistake" a _conclusion_ about the incident?

The administration has repeatedly stated that it has seen "no indication" of Israel's *violations* of the humanitarian law since the hostilities began. However, it acknowledged the *multiple* instances of Israeli forces instructing captives to act in front of cameras in only their underwear. Should we assume these don't strike Mr. Kirby as a contravention of humanitarian law? What about *flattening* nearly entire cities, which undoubtedly include residential buildings, and attacking hospitals, knowing they still house _patients_ and _displaced_ civilians? How about *firing* on hungry people rushing to food trucks?
