Just *how intensely* they really listen to each other is amazing.

Something I noticed about the WAY they listen, is that if one of them starts to jump in with their say, if the person already talking raises their voice slightly and *continues* talking, the person trying to jump in not only stops but actually listens MORE closely, because they seem to think “oh, they have an especially important point to make, I should listen more closely instead of adding my two cents”.
That is so valuable to proper conversing!
