People need to understand that this is PLENTY time for pilots to descend (they do something called a dog dive) like if they did -5000 from at 40K feet that’s only 8 mins.

Fun fact: Pilots try to avoid mountain ranges and areas of high altitudes for this situation. If they need to descend quickly, it's much harder to do it over mountains.

Fun fact: If you were in space and lose oxygen, you’d have to descend at AT LEAST 21.330fpm which is pretty much impossible. R.I.P. Astronauts or crazy people who climb to 400.000ft in the sim in a 737 (definitely not me🧐)

For y’all who are asking questions like will it land safely yes it will since pilots are trained to land in these situations so if you see any articles talking about plane crashes just know that it’s very rare for something bad to happen and it’s even rarer for a plane crash to occur because the pilots are well trained planes are actually safer that boats trains and cars

Also: masks in the same row are connected to the same cannister, so if someone pulls the mask to pull the pin, timer starts.

did you know that the oxygen masks aren't even filled with oxygen but rather work through a chemical reaction? xD

It’s also NOT real Oxygen too. It’s the chemicals to imitate the oxygen because it’s fire risk if they use real oxygen. (I hope you understand)

Most planes don't even cruise at 40000 feet, they are usually between 33000-38000feet so it would be even faster

Inside cabin of wide body you’ll see two aisles to walk ( basically big aircraft )
Narrow body you’ll see only one aisle
