Creepypastas are the modern terrifying urban legends. Tales of horrifying serial killers on the loose, scary ghostly apparitions appearing in the night, and shocking childhood video games and cartoons haunting you in mysterious ways, all told through the internet. These gruesome stories are not written by select big name authors, but by you - people of the Internet. This creates an air of eerie realism which you don't get with other horror mediums. Are any of these scary stories true? That question is what will keep you up at night.

HAVE A CREEPYPASTA OR HORRIFYING TRUE SCARY STORY TO SEND? WE'RE LOOKING FOR GRUESOME GHOST STORIES, TERRIFYING RUN INS WITH SERIAL KILLERS AND STALKERS, OR CRYPTID HORRORS BEYOND BELIEF. Please mark if true or not.

When Jason Hill tells me to ' prepare to be unsettled' what I hear is incredibly mocking understatement.

Great content as always. And nice to hear Aaron Ordover taking over from the legendary Heather (though it'd also be great should she join in again sometime too!)

The story "Making Things Click" is chilling and horrific. A very effective horror story. What is especially chilling is that I am surprised that something like this has not happened in real life. As the writer of the story says, all too realistically "Adults congratulate themselves for doing nothing" When confronted with the very real life problem adults do just that----nothing. "Bullying" is such a stupid name for people being allowed to engage in vicious, vindictive cruelty, and so called "adults", educators, parents and authorities do exactly nothing to stop it. And when the victim breaks and strikes back----then "they" are the ones with the problem. So this epidemic of tormenting just gets worse and worse, till now kids are more like prison inmates than students, carrying weapons to defend themselves. And what kind of men do you think the bullies go on to be after school? They have been taught to take pleasure in cruelty, and never suffered any repercussions, so as adults they get even worse. This epidemic is one of the worst symptoms of the fabric of our society breaking down. We are teaching entire generations that there is no such things as right and wrong, no such thing as justice, no such thing as law and order. We are teaching kids not to be decent men and women, but to be snarling, vicious animals. A civilization cannot survive that way.

This was an effective and horrible story, well written and well told. Again, I am surprised that this has not happened in real life.

Violence doesn't *always* solve your problems, but honestly, the more persistent type of bully does not listen to pleading, indifference, or kindness. Sometimes, getting into a fight is the only way to get your bullies to fuck off. Obviously don't kill or seriously maim them! That's illegal, and the only real reason to kill someone is if they're going to kill you. Most bullies aren't trying to do anything *that* severe.
