I am listening to this while working out + sweating! Living in the tropics + sweating during workouts isn't much fun but Dang it feels so good after a good sweat workout! Thanks Dr.Berg! I've learned a lot and even lost weight after following your channel!

Gosh this is so true! This is why we are so sick! We need to sweat more! Thanks and God bless! Natural medicine and Gods wisdom helped us to overcome infertility to go onto have 8 children against all odds. I love learning how our bodies work!

I was asking myself this the other day. I go to the gym and I usually sweat +2 liters. Since 2 months ago I take a little more salt in my daily bases and I feel much more energized and I sleep better. This video confirms this sensation. Great info!

Table salt is standardly iodized. Before that, people were rampantly deficient in iodine, since it's really hard to get from a regular diet. Iodine deficiency causes cognitive impairment, goiters, and hypothyroidism. Sea salt generally isn't iodized. So unless you happen to eat a lot of seaweed, I wouldn't quit table salt for sea salt unless you already know where you're going to be getting your iodine from.

I do long walk an hour to two every day
But I sweat less or not because my long walk are not a power walk but it give me a tremendous quality of sleep six to seven hours of high quality of sleep
So I am not worry about sodium
I do unrefined hamalayanin sea salt and Celtic Salt
Good video
Thank you dr.berg

I appreciate that you keep us Vegan and Vegetarians in mind in your presentation even though you don't recommend. I feel I'm in a Biology class when I watch your videos, thanks so much!

Many thanks for sharing your knowledge and advice. You mentioned that sea salt is the best source for sodium. However, research has confirmed presence of micro plastics due to pollution. I would recommend Himalayan pink salt which has added benefits and minerals. Many thanks and God bless.

I switched from sea salt to himalayian pink salt. Does it matter? Is one better than the other?

But why do doctors advise to consume less salt?

Worked outside for many years in sw Florida and I'd rather sweat than shiver any day. It made my skin feel good and my kidneys/ bladder seemed to work less and always slept great at night. i would make a cooler of ice water and salt it along with a few bananas.

I once had to drink 24l (6 gallons) in one day in Queensland, Australia.

It was hot and humid, and work was hard.

My entire life I've been incapable of sweating, I would overheat and have a red face. Since taking Sea Kelp this has changed. I am able to tolerate heat much better because I now sweat and cool off. I guess my parathyroids finally got what they've needed to function properly. Thanks Doc :)
