I am converted... My nikah is without my whole family... But I'm grateful Alhamdulllilah...

Reverts are always misunderstood by family members. I reverted to Islam 22 years ago and I can tell you that I still have some family members who hold grudges against me even though I always do my best to please them. My parents were very understanding and advice me to be among the best of Muslims, but one of my brothers and the extended family still have animosity against me for choosing Islam. My parents are now deceased and I pray for them everyday and I feel better today for making that decision especially when I perform 'Salah' together with my family. My advice as a revert is that don't give up on your parents, I am certain your good intention for choosing Islam will be understood by them with time. We will keep you in our prayers. May Allah make it easy for you and bless you enormously in this life and the hereafter.

very brave man and very brave decision, this is the right thing to do, because when we face our LORD, and we will, no one will be there for us but our deeds. our choices in this lower life define our after life, after all we will be asked about our personal (active or passive) decisions. in the other hand family is family, so "let time to time" and pray GOD to guide them to the right path, no one can do that but GOD.
