Invest in your self and go to school you will not regret it. School don't have to be in your back door either. There is nothing like having a madeup mind to what you want to do in life. 90 percent of the good people you know will try to talk you out of your success before you even start just because they failed. I went to two mechanic schools far away from home, took out loans, AND PAID THEM OFF. A good school will get you way ahead in the workforce.

Seeing how where I'm from by time you take out a 40k loan to go to community college welding classes(in a booth that offers no real world scenarios) two years and finish with NO CERTS and absolutely NO HELP finding a job outside of a fabrication shop that wants to pay you 17$; I'd say 20k(pretty much a car loan) is damn worth it.

So..$20k on top of $4k to be housed, on top of not being paid by anything while there if you’re not coming from somewhere you’re hired on that pays you for training…you’re looking at $24, 000, while needing to find a way to get food, fuel, any clothing needs, ways to go out for leisure activities…idk

Hell no! 20, 000 is way too much! Especially seeing that you probably gonna make 60k once you graduate!!
