Missing Family Found Safe After Mysterious Disappearance

A Michigan family was found safe in Wisconsin after missing for six days. The drama started when Anthony Cirigliano made a strange late-night call to 911 from the family home in Fremont, Michigan. The next day, Cirigliano, his wife and their two sons were gone. Police say when they went to the house, they found an elderly relative who requires full-time care was left behind. Cops later found the family at a hotel, 300 miles from their home.

They're not safe! The husband is having a mental breakdown and he's making all of the decisions! At home, they left a dementia patient wandering the neighborhood (in Oct in Michigan) and left their pets at home w/o anyone to feed them! They should be charged with elder abuse and animal abuse!

I grew up with a mother like this. At home surgery’s to try to get microchips out of my head, forcing me to stair at the sun for 15 mins a day all year long, wrapping all electronics in tin foil, one day we woke up and she insisted one of the people from the group out to get her was able to use a device to put us all in a deep sleep and come in and “r” her. All because she woke up with a scratch on herself she didn’t notice the night prior and because she started spotting(she has endo and spots all the time) this made her force my dad to jimmy up stuff on all of our doors what was essentially a wooden bar lock. When i could finally move out a couple years ago she was sleeping in a giant layered metal screen cage in our unfinished attic convinced that the people outside her bedroom windows wouldn’t be able to “microwave her”

This family needs serious counseling and help. My heart aches for them because I understand what living in this environment is like. I hope they were at least in public school and not forced into a cult like i was too. I imaging having outside interaction would be a huge help.

This case reminds me of an Australian case a few years ago. A whole family, including adult children, disappeared and were eventually found under really mysterious circumstances and the public never got an explanation as to what happened except that it was maybe a case of shared mental health episode.

Dad was probably having a paranoia episode. I don’t understand why the rest of the family left the elderly person alone though?

This is such a strange story. I am interested in seeing how this plays out. Hate to admit it but not knowing why all this happened leaves me extra curious about the paranoia and why they would leave the mother with dementia and pets behind like that. I won’t be surprised if they get charged with abandonment and neglect or similar. It all seems so bizarre.

My dad says similar things, he was in jail for 10 months because he started attacking neighbors property because he thought they were stealing his meds/ trying to poison him/ breaking into his house which all of course wasn’t true at all. He first got arrested for grand theft auto because he stole a corvette from a dealership and drove it like 5 cities away and didn’t pull over for cops because he thought they were his secret service. The mind, especially the unhealthy mind, is an extremely powerful weapon. My best guess is that this dad’s suffering from a mental health crisis and needs serious help. I feel terrible for the whole family. I know what my family has been through and continues to go through has not been easy. Mental health is a joke around here. We got zero help from law enforcement trying to get my dad help. We knew the only way he would ever get help was to be arrested and taken to jail. I just hope that with all the media attention from this case that they will all get the help they need.

This "missing" family is still in trouble. The dad's mental health should've been paramount enough for the police to at least take him for questioning; see what's up with him mentally.

This is what diving too deeply into conspiracy theories is doing to people lately. How can the authorities claim case solved without pressing further?

This is where hindsight should meet foresight before regret about not doing something to arrest a potentially tragic situation. The Gabby Petito case is one such perfect example.

Sorry, but they should have charges against them for abandoning an elderly family member and pets who require care. Police need to be investigating further.

dad definitely needs a full time help ! but not from cop's...from doctors and psychiatrist and definitely seek for his mental health....glad they're okay 👍
