Can Mimics COPY Modded Armor? (Elden Ring Mythbusting)

Yeah i don't think most npc or bosses wear armor its just a base model and stats it might be different for canon fodder and maybe the red "invader" enemies

blaidd doesn’t wear armor in his data and his character model is different from the player and most npcs

Just a little note on modded armor: If you want to get the modded armor to show up on NPCs, you need a second file with a "_l" at the end of it. For example, if you model swap "lg_m_1180", which refers to the bull-goat greaves, it will show up on player. If you make a copy of the file and name the copy as "lg_m_1180_l", then any npc wearing that piece of armor will also have the modded piece.
So if your mimic tear isn't wearing your modded armor, you can duplicate those files and simply rename them to make them show up on mimic tear.
If you don't have the "_l" ended file, then the npc will just be wearing bull-goat greaves.

I’m assuming the mimic tear pulls it’s model from the same exact file/ code the player is using so it’s going to copy anything that’s there, unless the file/ code or whatever for the armor somehow fucks with that process.
