Survivalcraft had some really cool features, like wires (like redstone, but you can make it pass through block, attach it to walls and ceiling, long pistons and had various gate component), paint (you could color everything in many different way) and the hammer/furniture ( you could build a max 16x16 structure and turn it into a furniture/single block, then you could animate it, duplicate, and give it proprieties like light or reacting to current)

Survivalcraft actually goes really hard. It's definitely more simple over all. You don't have logic and command capabilities like you do in minecraft. But to the average player who stays at the basic level it's actually pretty good. The clothing system is better, they have guns and had crossbows before minecraft, the animals were a lot more diverse. I really liked it growing up.
