If Killmonger isn't evil and let his anger and thirst for vengeance took over him, he and Iron man would make a great team and good friends

Putting it simply, Tony being on the receiving end of one of the mortar shells he has invented is what lead to him shutting down weapons development and having a whole different mindset in him fighting to protect people and lessening casualties. Also he became a better man due to it. But thanks to Killmonger saving him, that doesn't happen and Killmonger in turn went on to win over Wakanda far more prepared. But I do like the Liberators and it showed what Vibranium is capable of in the hands of a genius like Stark.

Michael B. Jordan is absolutely killing it. I am glad to see him taking the spotlight for today's episode. Damn, What If became darker these days but I love it so much.

Killmonger prevented Iron Man and ended Black panther early. With that the first modern day heroes are gone while the villain stands tall. I’m guessing the nexus event is ending the heroes earlier in 2009 than excepted. Tchalla and Tony's rise to greatness is supposed to happen while Killmonger becoming Black panther is not.

I really thought stark was going to be the villain and killmonger would be the good guy.

It will be cool to see this in live action but Michael B Jordon was cast as Killmonger in Black Panther in 2018 and have the MCU story with Iron Man and Avengers. So thank god Iron Man did not ended up got saving by with Killmonger and Tony Stark in live action in 2008 and in a what if episode only in animation.

So this is set in 2008 then right? And black panther is 2018. I was under the impression killmonger was relatively young but i guess not as young as i thought
