She just no longer allows medals or people's wavering opinions to validate her like she has in the past. She has accomplished more in her lifetime than most gymnasts ever will. Nothing to prove.❤

I feel like that was the best interview ever, from the GOAT. Her attitude is so good, no pressure, be in the amount, have fun. Yes she just one 4 more Golds, and a Silver, but my favorite Simone moment was her reaction after not landing the Double Pike in EF. She just got up and smiled. GOAT 🤩

i love that she has learned to say 'no' - i think it def helped her not doing as many press things. I dunno if anyone else feels the same, but from this interview I get the impression she might decide she has come back and proven herself - not necessary to others, , but mainly to herself, and she doesn't 'need' another Olympics. I think there is a real possibility she may opt out of Paris next year. And i wouldn't begrudge her for that at all.

She is a GREAT interviewer!!! I loved her active listening, and actually acknowledging the questions she was being asked by simply saying "yeah, " or "mmm" or things like that. She seems so...genuine. And I feel like she genuinely is there for the sport and not the medals/counts like she says in the interview. It's also so great to see her really speak praises of, yet still acknowledge Rebecca as competition. But she brings up a very good point - They're there to push each other. And it is a competition. But that doesn't mean you have to be disrespectful or not appreciate your competitors' wins and strengths. I think Simone does that - Rebecca is her competitor but I feel they lift each other up.
