What is Patients Know Best - An Introduction

The common question, what is Patients Know Best?, is easy to answer when we look at how it came about and why it is needed. In this video we not only explain what Patients Know Best is but also explain why it was created, by who and how it empowers people to manage their health, whether they are healthy or not.

Created by Dr. Mohammad Al-Ubaydli (also a patient in his own right) after finding he was often repeating his story and explaining his condition to the healthcare experts he routinely saw.

Patients Know Best is a technology platform that helps patients store all of their most important medical and health records in one place where they can be easily accessed by themselves or any medical professional. This allows access to the person's entire health care history within seconds.

Health and social care providers find it difficult to communicate with each other. For example, if a patient has to go to hospital, they sometimes have to wait up to a week for their GP appointment to be transferred. Information is sometimes lost along the way, causing downstream effects in how the patient is treated. The solution is to improve the way patient information is transferred between health and social care providers which will make patient treatments more efficient.

Patients Know Best aims to improve health outcomes, reduce hospital admissions and save the NHS money, by improving patient information flows between health and social care providers and the patient themself.

What a load of rubbish. You have to input your own data, results etc so pointless. False advertising
