The Wireless LAN service is a feature in Windows Server® 201x that you can use to enable the wireless WLAN AutoConfig service and to configure the WLAN AutoConfig service for automatic startup. Once enabled, the WLAN AutoConfig service dynamically selects which wireless network the computer automatically connects to, and configures the necessary settings on the wireless network adapter. This includes automatically selecting and connecting to a more preferred wireless network when one becomes available.

This just saved me so many more headaches. You didn't stall with an intro or spam subscribe button graphics, just went in and showed us how it's done. Great video.

thank you so much, this was the first video I clicked and it worked. I was running into an issue where drivers were not allowed to be installed. This allowed me to install drivers, and get connected! Thank you!!!

I have a problem doing this on my Dell Poweredge R720 with windows server 2019. When I follow the instructions and get to the point when I type net start wlansvc, it says "the requested service has already been started" but still I get no blinking light from my usb wifi antenna and no wireless networks available. Its worth noting that I did the same thing on my previous server (Dell Poweredge R710) and the wifi worked and installed fine. How do I fix this issue? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thx
