Sad that such a beautiful device had to go up in flames. I had the Galaxy Note3, Galaxy Note5, and I was gonna get the Note7. Waited until after the first recall. Pre-ordered the phone: 2 days later the second recall and discontinuation of the Note7. I was pissed soil just got the S7 Edge. It's nice and all but I wanted the Note7. Samsung will bounce back from today, Samsung tomorrow, Samsung Forever

I had the first ever Note when I was in college, and then I switched to iphone 4s and never looked any other phone till the iphone 6Plus back in 2014, Sold my iphone 6 for really cheap trade off, sold my macbook air, sold my apple watch, and got a microsoft surface pro 4 (loving it now), I was about to get an iphone 7 but after this note 7, I am never going back to iphones until they have something really innovative other than just upgrading to a newer processor and increasing the rear camera size. Note has again got my head turn and Now I will always keep a note in my bag no matter what iphone gets launched. Took me 6 years to get back to where I started... The Note .. Thanks samsung and I can say this is real innovation unlike the iphones.

Haters gonna hate, if Apple does something, people hate, Samsung does it, its the best idea ever. Im almost sure somewhere down the line Samsung's problem gonna remove the headphone jack. People need to stop hating on Apple. If you don't like Apple, well fine, everyone has their preferences.

I have and LOVE my Note 4. I skipped the Note 5 because it did not have expandable storage. I can forgive the other changes (fixed battery, no IR blaster, etc.), but could not go with a phone that I could not expand the storage capability because my media volumes are large. I was waiting to hear about the technology Samsung has been talking about for a year or two regarding integrating expanded storage as system storage so that Android will allow 3rd-Party apps to write to it. My favourite file manager cannot transfer or delete files to the SD card, nor can my preferred music player update info tags and song titles for media stored on the SD. Did they announce it and I missed it, or was it not addressed at all?

funny seeing all the apple fanboys saying "Oh this phones shit nothings new from the 5 except for a crappy iris off that's not all that's new. the 7 added the secure folders, the updated camera with better lowlight pictures, waterproof phone AND S PEN, new features for the s pen, the dual curved display for better grip...AND NOW why are u apple fanboys saying iris scanner is stupid? Cuz u guys don't have it? In all those futuristic movies and TV shows you see people opening doors or identifying themselves with their eyes. people watching that happened always dreamed we would finally be able to do the same thing! Now we can, with the SAMSUNG note 7. so what's gonna make the iPhone 7 better?
