Drywall Anchor Installation (Drywall Anchor Test: Toggler, Snap Toggle, EZ Anchor, Expansion Anchor)

Drywall anchor demonstration/ Drywall anchor test: which anchor is best? Some expand, others have a toggle like the Toggler snap toggle, some are self drilling anchors like the EZ Anchor. Some are more expensive and some are cheap. Check the weight limit before you install.

Great video, but it looks like you installed that plastic Toggler / PopToggle (Toggler or Hillman brand, the product is identical) at the end incorrectly: It comes with a red or yellow plastic piece that you need to insert and push in to 'pop' out the toggle wings and set them in place, BEFORE installing the screw. Sometimes if it's a tight fit, you need to push really hard or even use a hammer on the plastic piece (thought the instructions say not to..) to get it to pop.

The way you have it installed will still work well enough for light loads, and to be honest sometimes I forget to set them in place, but to get the full benefit you really need to install them properly, and I'm willing to bet that it makes a big difference in their holding strength.

These are great anchors, probably the strongest drywall anchor short of a SnapToggle, and they're my go-to for installing things like floating shelves or heavy mirrors, where I don't need a stud but I need something pretty strong.
Only downside is, they're nearly impossible to remove once installed.. (only way is to cut off the flange with a razor, or maybe a drill, I've never tried and I don't think it will be easy..)

This is a great video, that been said, please avoid clickbait thumbnails for your videos, the anchor on your thumbnail with the words descriptions was the only one not installed in your video and only showed in a few posts screenshots, please correct me if I wrong and missed the installation

Informative video but it drags a little after 6:15 when you stop narrating. You could cut this as a 5 minute quick tutorial someday, idk :P
