I don’t think anyone recommended the “snake bit kits” anymore. Much of the contents (scalpel and suction) will cause more damage and complications than just getting a person to the hospital (or alternative First Aid).

This is excellent tips. I have watched many but I have learned quite a bit from this video. Savvy ideas.

Great information. Is Paul still around. It would be interesting to see him or someone similar do more of these. Maybe a winter one in Maine or Alaska. Allegedly only USAF SERE are cool 😎 enough for cool school 🏫 😎. Thanks Great information.

Other than snake bite kit, good military base kit for off trail use.

Wow, this makes my head hurt, especially since I spent my first 15 years in the Navy, Flying P-3s and my last 5 as a SERE Instructor. WHY are you in a flight suit? I have 10, 000+ hours flying and would not want to evade in a flight suit if I have BDUs available. That flashlight is so last century, there a MUCH better options available that can put out more or less light than that POS. One quart isn't close to being enough water on you. If you are going to have a poncho, have a poncho liner as well! Then there is the lack of .020 safety wire for making snares and I didn't see a fishing kit, especially being that close to water.
