I’m so happy for you Hannah! I know you’ve talked about post grad loneliness before so this will be wonderful. I’m also so glad you got your cat a water fountain. Most people don’t realize how helpful they are, or the best materials they should be made out of/how often to change filters and pumps. So excited for more cat content in the future and truly so happy for you and this new chapter!

23:33 the "higher" bowls have to be at your cats elbow height :) and also its really tooo deeep for a cat, they like really flat bowls so they dont experience "whisker stress" while eating 😊

I’m a vet nurse, I’m watching this video because I’m really depressed. I saved a stray kitten and worked on her health for a week…unfortunately I couldn’t keep her because we live in a caravan at the moment with two dogs but this kitten felt like another part of my soul….I’ve never felt like that towards a cat before (I love all cats but this cat was another level)…my brother in Law took her on which I am grateful for but I’m absolutely shattered that I couldn’t keep her.

I’m also a first time cat over. My cat is almost 2!!! She has wet food for dinner and since cats naturally don’t drink lots of water, I add some to her dinner to make “soup” just so I knew she’s getting some water during the day. Something you might want to consider! I’m excited to see how you guys grow together!!!

You helped me so so much. We have decided to take in a homeless kitten, that cam up to us in our yard. We got him to the vet so he could be treated and we made the decision he is coming home with us!

As someone who has had 3 cats, something I would highly recommend is giving your cat SPACE when u first get them

He is absolutely lovely! Your tiny darling will be your best friend for years to come. Pets are better friends than us humans, - provided you treat them well. I have had 3 cats, but currently, I am alone.

It's a good idea to look up how to play with your cat. They really like the wand things for active play and you're supposed to have good active play sessions with them at least a couple of times a day.

Currently awaiting a beautiful black kitten (Cthulhu) into our home in two days. Terrified but excited at the same time. Bought all kinds of things for the little one, comfortable bed(s), the right food, plenty of toys, a cat-tunnel, litterbox and litter. Hope she'll love us as much as we are prepared to love her.
