I, for one, am excited about the release of the ICE Chargers, although I must admit, I feel like I'm the only one. I have a '22 Challenger Hellcat Redeye and a '23 Durango SRT 392, both of which I intend to keep in perpetuity. I therefore feel like I have my Hemi "legacy" power plants covered, and thus have no reservations about welcoming a turbo six into my stable. I think the design of the new Charger is gorgeous, and the notion that there will be a 700 bhp variant of the Hurricane coming is a mouthwatering proposition. Slap an SRT logo on it and some added features, and Dodge can take as much of my money as they want for such a car. A Direct Connect Stage Kit, or a simple aftermarket tune and downpipe could push the output of that engine beyond that of my Redeye, and then you have the benefit of four-wheel drive on top of it... Well, simply stated, that car would be a monster. I eagerly await the reveal of such a car.

Ford didn’t announce a sedan, they’ve showed it at some secret meeting. They’ve been playing on the idea for awhile because they want to go after Porsche not Dodge. Lmao

I hear what you're saying about the politics driving this. However, even if Dems win and bring back CAFE fines, Stellantis was making more net profits with record sales and paying fines than they are now with low sales and no fines. They should care about NET profits. If Ford and Chevy can do it, why can't the biggest automaker in the world?
