If you can not send or receive pictures as messages in your samsung galaxy phone then the first thing is to check is if you have enabled Power saving mode. Go to "Settings"- "Device maintenance". Go to "Battery" and if you have power saving mode enabled, just select "Off". After the power saving mode is disabled, check if you can send or receive pictures as messages.

The other thing what we can do is we will go to "Settings" again. We will go to "Apps". Scroll down and look for "Messages". Select it. Select the "settings" - "More settings". Select "Multimedia messages" and make sure that this "Auto retrieve" button, it is enabled. Now check if you can send or receive pictures as messages in your Samsung galaxy phone.

Was a little different on our android, had to go under settings, then messages, then hit more settings and more settings again, then to mms or (messages), then you can turn on auto retrieve from there . So thank you for guiding, I guess each phone is unique.

Thanks! I followed your advice. Turned out it was because I had power saving mode set to 'Mid' rather than 'off'.

For me there is no way to turn of power saving mode. The only options are "medium power saving mode" maximum power saving mode" and "optimized power saving mode" there is no way to turn it off...

Correct. The main thing I had to do was turn my WiFi off. My Samsung galaxy Edge began to send and receive picture messages MMS. IT REALLY WORKS!!!

When I tried this on my galaxy, my settings did not look the same and I'm still having a problem sending and receiving photos on my text. When someone sends me a photo it just says No Subject.😠😠🙄🙄

I just fixed mine by turning it off...counting to 10... turning it back on. I assume it just resets the program (android) that's running the phone. What he says makes perfectly good sense too.

try turning your wifi off and mobile data on, that is the only thing that worked for me, then go back to message that was sent and click download, should download to phone now
