Yoda knew the order would fall from warning by qui gon and the things maul said but did nothing because he could do nothing. He had no clue who the Sith was and needed time. But time wasn’t available so when emperor paperplane executed order 66 he realized who it was and that he couldn’t have done anything. So short answer is he couldn’t because he knew the threat was to great.

Anakin was the chosen one to bring balance to the force when the light was blinding Anakin brought it to its knees and when the Dark shrouded the galaxy he helped bring the light back with the Casting down of Darth Sidious

I dunno, why is it in the phantom menace, when the Trade Federation tells the senate thier blockade was completely legal, no one brings up the fact they attacked a marked Republic diplomatic vessel and killed two Judiciaries and tried to poison two Jedi sent by the chancellor himself?

Pretty sure that was illegal and it might have stopped Palpatine from becoming chancellor by shutting down the TF blockade. The Jedi council knew all of that but didn't say a thing.

Today was shown "possible futures!" He was also shown "visions of possible future events" by others in those episodes, who were at best less trustworthy that qwi gon jin!!? Who was to say, was acting going to cause the downfall of the jedi and all those deaths or by not acting cause it?all you can do is take it one decision at a time and not try to "change the future" cause in the end "it was all Just a Vision"

By allowing the fall of his order, he allowed the end of the war with the sith to end, instead of it carrying on age after age. He even mentioned winning the war for all time, in that episode. The sith would never have collapsed completely were it not for that, and now Yoda knew the price he would have to pay, but it didn't make it easy to pay it.

The jedi council was corrupt. It was highly involved in politics, the peace keepers had become warriors and generals, and the Sith had the entire galaxy wrapped around their finger. Anikin brings true order to the force by killing Sidious, as well as purging the jedi and allowing Luke to rebuild the order, now with the knowledge of the previous generations mistakes. Yoda may have seen this, and resigned the council to its fate.

They were essentially in a no win scenario at that point, they would need solid proof on the origins of both the war and the clones themselves otherwise if they backed out they'd be seen as traitors regardless

The problem is getting the rest of the order to go along, with what he has found just like in Star Wars episode 1 not believing right away the Sith, were still around they were so complicate in how they did things that's why the order was able to lose, their connection to the force to a degree because they weren't active like Qui- gon Jinn, he was the only one to see what the other Jedi could not and he would have acted.

Its because if you think about the prophecy anakin was always going to destory the jedi and the sith it was said he would bring balance to get rid of one side wouldnt be balance in the end there were only 2 sith vader and palpatine and there were also only two jedi obiwan and yoda after yoda becomes one with the force luke balanced the anger inside anakin leading to him killing the remaining sith which lead to no more jedi and no more sith with luke having a more neutral view of the force

It's meant to show just how misled the Jedi Order has become. Unconcerned with the future of the Republic and its people and more concerned with their political figureheads and position. It's why the Jedi fall, and it's why Palpatine, willing to backstab, cheat the game of politics, and break the rules managed to usurp power so quickly and easily.
