i am seeing alot of comments about musik being haraam
u are right indeed it is haraam 
but u have no idea the ways of life to which i had turned i always would hear english songs madona britney spears and alll that stuff and when i was being told to come to the right path someone introduced me to sami yusuf's musik and you have no idea how much it made me better 
sami yusuf's musik is a great gateway for those who are addict to listening musik which are made by the kaafir for misguiding everyone to the wrong path

i know it's out of the blue, but this type of info needs to be spread right?
Actually the unanimous opinion is that if one doesn't pray at all they are a kaffir, but Hanbal said that even if one is missed the same is to be applied.
I just told you because I'd recently learnt of it, Alhamdulillah I prayed anyway, but I just thought I'd warn beloved brothers.

indeed ahkhi, Asalaamwalaikumwarohmatullahiwabarrikatu.
I was sad to hear about music @ first because I was really into, but the most shocking thing by far is the fact that anyone who does not pray the compulsory Salaah becomes a Kaafir (until they pray again).
Dunno why I'm saying this but yh, if you want any proof of that let me know.

Also every Sahabi said the same and the 4 Imams Ahmad Bin Hambal, Alshafii, Malik and Abu Hanifa said the same.

well I'm not a sheikh but if you need my opinion, this is not like what the non-Muslim do, not even what the Muslim singers sing these days, his music has msg I mean he is singing "smile to ur brother is saddaq" "Good talk is saddaq" maybe the issue her is the instruments if it doesn't have instruments it would be better, and there're alot of sheikhs said that Nasheed without instruments is Halal

it's not good to assume things bro, I was referring to the fact that using instruments in Islam is haraam.
Dw if you didn't know, insha'Allah you won't be held accountable, however now you do things have changed.
ur probz thinking i'm speaking crap, and i would have said more or less the same thing just over a year ago when i didn't know.
