Most companies lose money for the first few years, it would be nice to see them succeed and show others greed is not the only way to thrive!

So far 3 mysterious deaths have occurred involving employees at Northvolt.
The cause of death has not yet been determined and an investigation is still ongoing, but everyone worked for Northvolt, So one can wonder how environmentally friendly and human-friendly it really is.

NorthVolt makes Li ion NMC batteries. This is now obsolete, since everyone is switching to LFP batteries, which last ~10X longer.

This is BS and not up to date.. They are not able to build and deliver batteries. I am sorry to say but I am a Swede and I know this is a huge failure to the taxpayers..

The only reason why this factory still exists is because the Swedish state has put in a lot of money in the form of direct subsidies, cheap loans and state guarantees. Behind this company is cynical businessmen that take advantage of the naive attitude amongst politicians. They start a company with minimal investments then sell the idea to politicians under the flag of green energy. When subsidies and guarantees are in place they hype up the idea on the stock market and sell their own shares when the stock price gets high. Is there anyone who still remember Enron? When the debt gets high enough the politicians will guarantee more money to save their own face. The video mentions recycling of ammonia and salts but what about methylcloride? This is an extremely poisonous gas that is used in the mane factoring of batteries. It is oalso very flammable. The Chinese are now planning to build a battery factory in Eskilstuna, Sweden. In the application for license to build this factory they have also release 900 tons a year of this chemical. How environmental friendly is that? Since the gas consists of chloride connections are we back to destroy the ozone layer again? Not so long ago I read an article regarding statically unusual number of deaths among workers at the Nortvolt factory. These are unexpected deaths and a good reason to wonder if there is a connection to the working environment.

The company can very well go bankrupt within a short time. They have failed in a catastrophic matter to scale up production and have already lost important customers.

sorry sweden. Moore and moore people are going back to gasoline or diesel. Why?, because one repair will empty your wallet and it will take a long time before you get your car back. Thats why.

Northvolt seems to be a failure!
A sequence of bad news: from three dead workers, delays in battery production, the factory in Borlänge won't be built, BMW has retracted their big battery order because of non-delivery.
All that, and we know that battery prices are lower than expected, which would be bad even if they could produce them.
No, this is as far from revolutionary as one can get.
My guess, and that of the Swedish business press, is that it will end really bad!
But first, they will try to get someone to throw some more money into the pit!
