Are you Sad to see there won't be a Future Larger iMac for around $1800-2000?

I still kinda feel an iMac Pro will be coming soon, there's no replacement for an all-in-one like the iMac Pro.

I have an intel 27” iMac. I really like the screen size for my aging eyes and the ability to have multiple “windows” displayed at the same time and still be able to read the “fine” print on the screen. It seems Apple wants to sell components so they can make more money. Doubling the price of a computer “system” will not allow me to ever buy a new Apple computer. Of course, I bought my 27” used because it had a lower price tag and is probably good enough for what I use a computer for. I like the fact that everything is integrated and I don’t have to worry about separate camera and speakers. Not planning on buying any new Apple product for at least a couple of years. I upgraded to a new 12.9 M1 iPad Pro about 6 months ago and use that a lot, but do enjoy working on my 27” iMac screen because of its size.

The iMac 27" has been a legend of a machine I have been using this Mac since 2013 and it never missed a beat! sad to see the replacement option is at about twice the price... grrrr

Planning on upgrading from 27” iMac (2012). Disappointed the iMac is dead. Mac Studio is obviously @ much higher cost. Over kill for most. Once again Tim is having us bend over if we want the “goodies”.

I’m planning to buy a 24” iMac soon. I’m also considering a new iPad 😄

Got a late 27” 2015 iMac currently having first bought the late 2012 model. Was looking to replace it soon and was hoping for an M1 Pro or Max 27”. The Mac Studio and Studio monitor sure looks like a nice combination but as I don’t need the power of the M1 Ultra, I may end up going for a 16” MBPro for flexibility and settling for a cheaper add-on monitor.

I just ordered the base 2020 27in iMac refurbished from the Apple site for only $1299. They have a ton of them on there so I believe these are discontinued new units rather than returns. Amazing bargains from basic to fully loaded. I am writing this on a late 2012 iMac (27) which is still perfect but no longer getting OS updates. As others have said, the 5K iMac is a great value with basically the same specs as the new Studio display, upgradable memory and included keyboard and mouse. Yes, the design is "dated", but I see it as classic and well built. Plus it will still run Windows and apps that may not yet be fully optimized for the M1 chip. Love this machine.

I bought the very first 5k iMac 8 years ago. Its been a great computer all these years, with no troubles at all. But Apple did their famous endof life trick on it last year, so I knew it was time for a new one. So sad no new ones are coming now……i was really disappointed Apple ended such a great computer

The new Studio display is disgustingly amazingly and I am happy they did that because as an engineering student I feel like apple didn’t use to be compatible and I’m so happy for it
I want to get the new 2022 iPad Air for university just to help me organized

Apple’s devises with the new boxy design is stunning. The fact that they are lighter and more powerful is amazing.

The event was amazing! But the new budget iPad is the one I am planning to get for college though so I still have to wait for a few months.

Dear Apple: I absolutely do not want a $2, 000+ desktop brick to replace my 27” iMac. I do not want a 24” iMac. I want a 27” iMac. Please don’t do this to your loyal business users.
