As mobile games continue to skyrocket in popularity many developers are doing everything they can to carve out a spot for themselves in a very competitive market.

Within the ocean of competition trying to earn the player’s attention, fun and fast multiplayer games of any genre tend to be the ones that have stood out the most. It’s a trend that has been figured out by the likes of Supercell, the company behind insanely popular titles like Clash Royale and Brawl Stars, while other developers are still working towards figuring out how they can make a game that hits all the right notes to become just as popular.

One such developer is trying to compete and make a name for themselves as well with their own take on a multiplayer mobile game with a couple of twists added in for good measure.

That game is Smash Legends.

As someone who used to play this game competitively, I'm surprised you didn't say anything about how dedicated some players are to this game. Although there's no clan system in the game, players made their own clans through Discord and a ton of servers have been made. Some of the clans were shown in the video, such as DF (Duel Fiends) and XPR. Honestly, the clans are it's own rabbit hole from the game, I'd know, I'm a clan leader myself

I've been playing this game for a few months and it's fun. Tried to play ranked, which was dead everytime I tried, and the grind is a bit rough after a bit, but other than that it's a pretty damn fun game.

A friend let me know about this game, it was pretty cool, my main issue was that sometimes the games would take more than a minute or two to load but then i was interested in the little lore pieces the loading screens would give you.

When i initially tried this game i hated how hard it was to unlock characters too. But now that its fixed and we can even buy them with normal credits the game is so worth playing and i would urge everyone to give it a try. Also don't be fooled, the steam version runs real nicely

I’ve played this game since the season where Flare was introduced. I really do like the gameplay style and even prefer it over Brawl Stars. I love the characters and the lore of the game’s world too. Really hope this game can go even higher in the future someday

i remember playing this games years ago, i love this. it feels similar like Lost Saga or Smash Bros, and this games definitely good. while years ago this game has issued like frame rate or bug issues, the games thankfully has been fixed and i will to play again

Im happy that you bring this game yo the channel, i played it when they released It (1 year ago) and i never stopped supporting the game even when they changed their services from LINE games to 5minlab and reworked the system, but is honestly sad that most of the matches are with bots because they are a few players playing the game up to this day.

It's way better now, but it'll need a new wave of players or make their older players come back. The game is very fun, just needs more people to play it. It's only downside right now are the abilities lootboxes but they're not game changers, just very useful.

I not really a gamer, I like how this games can finish so quickly, I play at least 1 hour or 30 minute daily and then coutinue do my job. Really base on your skill and read enemy movement, you can do combo atk to.

Hia! long time player here with over 1k hours on the game, sadly I have to say PLEASE stay away from this game. The developers have made some horrible changes recently and the community absolutely hates it, they have been doing nothing but driving away long term players recently. Ever since 5minlabs took full control over the game we now have zero communication with the devs and are really left in the dark as to what they're working on.

The most recent updates have been nothing but them adding COMPLETELY PAY 2 WIN features. And when I say pay to win I REALLY mean it, plus its super expensive. They have added new "perks" that you can add to your legend called "enchantments". You CANNOT earn these in anyway shape or form as a free to play player, and guess what? There in loot These enchants are absolutely game breaking and majority of players want them removed. We all complained for days in their public discord about it and 5Minlabs stayed silent as always. Instead of removing what we all hate they added more and more broken enchants and plan on adding more. These abilities are so strong they can seriously ONE HIT YOU, Increase your overall damage by 15% and increase your health by I wouldn't really care if it was cheep and I could pick what enchants I wanted to get, but there in RANDOM loot boxes that cost $40 PER

Let me state why this is scummy ^ : They recently stated in their public discord that they were really struggling with money. So instead of releasing new features to the game, new skins, better battle pass or anything of the sort. They add a feature where if you don't pay you are now at a major disadvantage to everyone else.

The game no longer requires skill to play and is pretty much based off of who plays the most OP legends and who has spent the most money on the game. Again, WE DONT WANT THESE ENCHANTS IN THE GAME. The company is struggling really bad with money, so this is how they are pretty much forcing people to spend money on their game. If you don't spend money on the game now you will not be able to keep up with the ones that do.

So to sum everything up : This game used to be really fun and skill based, now It is a pay to win game that is impossible to get into as a new player now as the p2w players will stomp on you. Do not support this company, they have destroyed what amazing game this used to be.

I played back when the game released and dropped it after a while due to the extremely predatory practices with its monetization. I'm trying it again now years later and it feels much better, being able to just play the character you want to play is much much better.

People are too quick to compare this to brawl. The gameplay and mechanics in smash is way more unique and fun cuz of so much mobility. But it does have major issues ie. server / massive character unbalamces and lot of needless currencies which made it more confusing. For some reason they changed how currencies work as well leading me to delete the game entirely cuz my gems seemed wortless now. I can't imagine what it did to the players who actuall payed for ingame currency.
