This is the best kind of video that a beginner can find. Not overwhelming, with slow tempo, left hand pattern with not so many notes and endless possibilities for right hand improvisation to make beautiful melodies (even by accident :D ).I wish I came across such videos many years ago when I started playing… :)
I really like the quality of your content and it helps me a lot in creating my own youtube piano lessons. I hope one day to grow my channel to your level :)

Thanks much. This is someting I've been wanting to learn...not note for note... The sound of your piano is beautiful!

As a beginner, this is what keeps me enthusiastic about playing. I can change the melody to fit the mood and sound epic every time.

It's like instant composition, once you mastered it the combination is endless, and sound great too! Thanks Jazer.

The last time I was at a piano store, the salesman thought I was playing a piece by Scarlatti. Have done some music arrangement reworking pieces for other instruments. Improv is something a lot of students wouldn't normally do because we have a teacher and learn to read other's music note for note. Not many people are comfortable playing in front of others. Being able to improv allows people to do just that.

Another great lesson from you. It gives us newbies a shot of enthusiasm to practice everyday and sound a lot more advanced then we are. The non players have no idea how relatively simple this is.

I discovered your site this morning when I needed help playing piano using chords. Your teaching method fits my learning style so perfectly! I've spent most of the day watching your various videos and bouncing back and forth from my computer to my piano to practice what you were showing your viewers. It has been one of my happiest days ever at piano! (I'm the 70-year-old that has no gift.) This video is the last I watched today. It may be the only way I play again! (Well, that's an exaggeration, but you get the idea!) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this lesson! THANK YOU!!!

I've always felt that Mozart was the master of simplicity and could make a single note hang in the air, leaving you breathless. Your "Single long Note" technique reminded me of that. Thank you for sharing.

Jazer, this is excellent. You make it simple while sounds sophisticated. 非常感谢您,我会努力练习👍👍👍

Thanks, Jazer This is great for someone who wants to practice listening. Just hitting the right keys does not necessarily make music. To improvise, even this simply, one needs to listen to make it music. Excellent.

Love the quick recap at the end with the short demos and text on the screen. Very helpful.

Hi! Would love to hear you actually play something one day, a full piece. Do I sense a holiday performance in our near future?...and the crowd goes wilddd. Wouldn't ask for or expect anything crazy. You just play so beautifully. <3

Just. Wow. I just can't believe that after only one week I'm able to follow along and do this (very tentatively for now, but still). Wow. Thank you Jaser for enabling newbies and giving us a taste of musical magic :)

I'm a beginner as well and I am 77. My significant other can also play. We like your channel the best of anyone. You take your time to explain and make it easy to follow. I like the single long notes and the sixths. Can't wait to try it! Thank you.

You are a super talented professional who inspires beginners not to give up! Love that you show hand placement for the notes! Thank you!

Very nice video indeed! It sounds great! The next step after that for students will be to understand exactly why it works --- in the theory part. That is - for the selected pattern of the left hand notes ---- the understanding behind why the right-hand notes sound good with those left-hand note patterns. Thanks Jazer!
