I heard Twitter is going to make Elon a millionaire

The workforce in America today is so top heavy. This is a prime example of what the executives feel about their employees. Their bottom line is their profit margin which almost always doesn't "trickle" down to the employees that make the company who they are. There is no loyalty from the company, yet they expect loyalty from their employees. This is not how America was built, things need to change.

They should all Quit. Get together and start their own Platform.

Step one: destroy employee moral by creating chaos prior to buyout saying you will lay off 75% of employees.
Step two: back track and tell them you won't lay them off
Step three: lay them off.
Step four: demand loyalty and slave like working conditions for no reason other than for his benefit.
Step five:... profit?

true visionary indeed.

The world lose Twitter.
Elon lose billions.
This is an utterly absolute win.

It never ceases to amaze me how business people look at the very rich and think their terrible mistakes are somehow by design. Cos sure, how could the rich ever be wrong or stupid, eh?

Why is it that so many billionaires feel a compulsion to be total a-holes all the time?

"If you won't obey me as absolute obedient servants, GET OUT!"
*everyone starts leaving*
"Um...no...not ALL of you...really?"

With an attitude like this, someone needs to look into how many workers died in the mines his family had (which is why he is rich now)

Question: Did Elon Musk lock the main Twitter Building,
OR
Did the electronic key card system quit working, and there is no longer any current
employees who can fix it?

Musk Wednesday: “Commit to being ‘hardcore’ and work long, brutal hours, or leave.”
Musk Friday: “Please stay.”

Never seem a guy willing to set fire to his own money. Couldn't he have just sent us all checks to buy out our accounts?

I personally have worked for big corporations and realised they are not and never will value your loyalty. It’s all about profit.
I made sure to generate extra income sources, save money for my small business and then I would continue working.
So now my salary from my job isn’t my only income, I just treat my job money as extra income.
It gives me freedom to say no .

Last time my boss asked me to work extra more than 8 hours . I said no, I was fired with severance and I didn’t care as I knew I will be fine . The company didn’t suffer either .
It’s just about me. I don’t want to give my labor for free. Pay me I will work hard but would not lift my finger for free. If you want bootlicking slaves there are plenty and there are plenty who needs it for survival.
I am not one of them.
Just one advice, save during initial years, don’t let lifestyle inflation hit you, start something of your own it may be small. And create multiple sources of income.
Remember for companies you are just a code, don’t cheat at your work, do it honestly and with dedication but don’t work for an extra minute without pay .

He was trying to make the employees that were left make up for the people he'd already let go. Notice he wasn't offering more or better pay, just requiring more of their time and effort.

He wanted to be a tyrant from the very beginning, and this is what happens, when all he cares about is power. "You reap what you sow."

I wish Mika had her own show. She really shines when Joe isn’t constantly interrupting and talking over her.

There is a lot to be said for leading with empathy and listening to your employees about what the problems are and what needs fixing before you take a sledgehammer to the place. When he announced for them to sign on the dotted line or leave with 3 months severance, I knew there would be massive resignations.

I believe the world is seeing the real Elan. You just can’t treat people the way he’s been treating the employees at Twitter. Tesla most likely has some similar stores about treatment

The moment I saw Musk's tweet that he was charging for trusted accounts I responded "you need me more than I need you" and closed my Twitter account
