US Highway 395 Closed Following Fatal Crash on Halloween in Adelanto

ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — One person was killed following a three-vehicle traffic accident on US Highway 395 in Adelanto on Halloween day.
It happened on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at about 1:40 pm, on US 395, north of Auburn Avenue.
The collision involved a Blue 2016 VW Golf, a white 2001 Chevrolet Blazer SUV with major damage that landed on its side along the east side of the highway, and a tractor-trailer semi that ended up in the desert.
San Bernardino County Fire responded to the incident and confirmed they had one person deceased on scene and two others with minor injuries.
Highway 395 is expected to remain closed between El Mirage Road and Chamberlaine Way for several hours.
The identity of the deceased person will be released pending notification on next of kin.
The ongoing investigation is being handled by the Victor Valley Sheriff's Station and additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
