This reminds me of Surah *"Al-Hadid"* which is the 57th chapter of the Quran making it the middle of the Quran 114/57
And this surah itself is named after iron which in the centre of the Earth our planet's core is made of iron. Mind blowing.

al baqarah = 286 ayah
devide by 2 = 143
in ayah 143 Allah says "and we made you a middle nation"
so the word "middle" is indeed in the middle of the surah.. subhanallah..

Yes it was put in that order before it was written down so they never knew it was a matter at the time. They probably didn’t even relies that it was a numerical miracle of the Quran.

It was revealed to Rasul(S.A.W) in batches and all over the place as at when he needed it and others at no specific time But certainly not chronologically that’s what makes it so miraculous & not coincidental... Because of the way it ended up being in the middle and with the 57th chapter called ‘The Iron’ being at the quote on quote ‘Core’/ Middle Section of the Quran

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED FROM THE QURAN
The number of times the word “Man” is mentioned: 24 times. The number of times the word “Woman” is mentioned: 24 times.

• “Dunia” (one of the Arabic words for ‘life’) is mentioned 115 times, and “Aakhira” (an Arabic word for ‘after life’) is also mentioned 115 times.

• “Malaika” (the Arabic word for angel) is mentioned 88 times, and “Shaytan” (Satan) is mentioned 88 times.

• “Life” is mentioned 145 times. “Death” is mentioned 145 times.

• “People”: 50 times. “Messengers”: 50 times.

• “Corrupt”: 50 times. “Benefit”: 50 times.

• “Iblees” (king of devils): 11 times. “Seek refuge from Iblees”: 11 times.

• “Museebah” (calamity): 75 times. “Thanks”: 75 times.

• “Sadaqah” (spending): 73 times. “Satisfaction”: 73 times.

• “People who are mislead”: 17 times. “Dead people”: 17 times.

• “Gold”: 8 times. “Easy life”: 8 times.

• “Zakat” (taxes Muslims pay for the poor): 32 times. “Barakah” (blessings of one’s wealth): 32 times.

• “Mind”: 49 times. “Noor” (light): 49 times.

• “Tongue”: 25 times. “Sermon”: 25 times.

• “Desire”: 8 times. “Fear”: 8 times.

• “Hardship”: 114 times. “Patience”: 114 times.

• “Muhammad”: 4 times. “Sharee’ah” (Muhammad’s teachings): 4 times.

If this is not enough, now please look at the number of times the following words occur:

• ‘Month’: 12 times

• ‘Day’: 365 times!

• ‘Sea’: 32 times. ‘Land’: 13 times. ‘Sea’ + ‘Land’ = 32 + 13 = 45.
% of Sea = 32 / 45 (x100%) = %
% of Land = 13 / 45 (x100) = %
Modern science has only recently discovered that the above figures represent the exact proportions of Sea and Land on Earth!

the word wasath, if it is interpreted or changed the form of the word becomes "tawasuth".. it means tolerant or moderate.👌. So. in the middle/tolerant/moderate nation. Al baqarah 143

Another interesting point about Qur'an 2:143 is this:
Qur'an 28:44
And you, [O Muhammad], were not on the WESTERN side when We revealed to Moses the command, and you were not among the witnesses [to that].

Moses (Pbuh) was in the west.

Qur'an 19:16
And mention, [O Muhammad], in the Book [the story of] Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the EAST.

Mary (Pbuh) gave birth to Jesus (Pbuh) in the east.

In this way, Jews will be "west" and Christians will be "east". But Muslims:
Qur'an 2:143
And thus have We willed you to be a community of the middle way

Muslims are neither the east, nor the west. But in the middle.

And the same thing is again mentioned in Qur'an 24:35
Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp; the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.

This is why we say: No east, no west, Islam is the best.

One important aspect that needs to be understood is that this Surah is also called ‘Surah e Ummatain’ which means Surah of two Nations. First part of the Surah talks mainly about the previous Nation that was Bani Israel. In that part Allah first informs us about the wrong-doings of previous Nation and then dethrones it.
Commentary on previous Nation ends on Ayah 142.
Ayah 143 is basically the coronation of the new Nation and from this Ayah till Ayah 286, Allah primarily talk to and talks about this new Nation which has been installed.
In the Coronation Ayah 143 the new Nation is first called the Middle Nation and in same ayah Allah also informs this Middle Nation of its biggest and foremost responsibilty that is, this Nation may become witness against all Mankind and the Messenger may become witness against this Nation and that is the meaning of Middle Nation.
May Allah make us the Middle Nation and may this Nation walk on the Right and Middle path.

Ahmad Deedat wrote a book, Al Qur'an the ultimate miracle. He mentioned about Code 19 and is mind blowing to see that the Al Qur'an is proven through Mathematics n Science.

The quran was revealed here and there, few verses asynchronously depends on situations, etc but the verses already has its place as they were being revelead and memorized. Almost like putting pieces of puzzle. There are no numbers, but there is chronological order...for example surah al baqarah will start with Alif, lam, mim...and then the next verse etc. Same goes with surah/chapter order. And after they completed and compiled all the verses and chapter in sequence, then only they can put the numbering. So its impossible for prophet Muhammad pbuh to plan the verse to be in the middle of the chapter.
