Mars, the fourth planet in our solar system and Earth’s near planetary neighbor has always been something associated with great mystery. It is famous for its bright rust-colored surface from iron-rich minerals, it’s cold thin atmosphere, and home to the largest volcanoes, mountains, and valleys in the solar system. The planet has been thought to harbor life, and even have liquid water, and for a long time, many people believed ancient civilizations existed on Mars. Some believe that soon humans will face global catastrophes, and we will have to leave the Earth. We’ve been studying the planet for a long time with the intention of sending humans there. But can humans survive on Mars and what challenges do we face?

What if our ancestors left Mars because it died and now we’re trying to go back without knowing our species has once lived there? It could explain how the Egyptians and many other ancient civilizations had high quality tech. Such as the pyramids.

If someone is living on Mars, they are living deep underground and Inner Mars.

Now here's a question. We go by years based on Earth years. I think planets have their own years (obviously because of our orbit around our sun). If we lived on Mars, would the years change because Mars takes longer to go around the sun? Let's say you're 50 years old on earth, could that mean you're 15 on Mars? (Just an example, I know the math is off)

I'd volunteer to go to Mars. When I was a child I told my family I wanted to be the first doctor on Mars. Well I'm a doctor, but I'm retired, but I'd still go to Mars to be that first doctor.

I’m 71 years old, healthy, very well educated, have survived a lot of crap, so I am a survivor by nature. I’m a very practical person, not spoilt by life. Have amazing life experiences. The technology it took to make earth inhabitable for mankind is millions of years more advanced than what we have. We wouldn't be able to terraform Mars.
