Easy and simple indispensable recipe for overnight oat buns resting in the fridge. Crispy on the outside, juicy and soft on the inside, these buns are the only ones you'll have to make for the rest of time. An indispensable recipe to have on hand! We made them with dry yeast, which is really practical and easy. The dough rests overnight in the fridge for a minimum of 8 hours for a great homemade result! Watch the video recipe to learn how to make these delicious buns/individual breads for e.g. breakfast, brunch, lunch or even as a side for your dinner (soups, salads, lasagnas etc.). The buns are also a really cheap way to make you fill for a long time!
Ingredients for around 12 large buns:
7 gr / 1.4 tsp dry yeast
500 gr / 4,16 cups of all-purpose wheat flour
300 gr / 3.75 cups of oatmeal / steel cut (fine) oats
800 ml / 3.33 cups of lukewarm water
2 tsp coarse salt
2 tsp white sugar
