As someone who had an exteme case of warts that took over a decade to solve (covid vaccine actually jump started my immune system and that caused all my warts to disappear so crazy).. these freezing and acid at home treatments are so violently aggressive on your skin.. when in fact the thing that helped me the most was duct tape.. yes duct tape out of all the dozens of things i tried DUCT tape took many of my warts out

I also want my doctor to look at it and determine if it's going to possibly turn on me. I had one frozen off, it didnt completely fall off, so they removed the rest and sent it off. It was iffy. So lots of reasons not to self treat your moles.

I used one of those drugstore kits on my wrist as a teenager. It kind of worked eventually. I was too chicken to do it all at once. Im so lucky i didn't have any reactions or long-term effects 😅

Well when you Office visit is costing you $400 you look for other options, like drug store.

Works great on moles and they don't come back and cost $4 from Walmart vs a $200-400 visit. Some are needed professional visits but some can be tackled at home and they don't come back. Always cancer can be involved so don't skip your annual visit. I'd suggest visiting your dermatologist and asking if you can try the home remedy first if dermatologist okays it then you know he knows his stuff and isn't threatened. Sometimes they may say no doesn't mean they are uneducated just some scenarios it's better to leave it to a professional.

It is naïve that someone would assume that just because one "dark spot" on their face was not cancerous, that the other smaller spots were not pre/cancerous (or something else that OTC wart remover should not be used for). I hope through the healthcare in their location that as many people as possible are willing & able to have access to proper medical care. Healthcare is not something that can be replaced by cute home dupe videos.

*Storytime* so i tried one of those wart freezing kits for this little baby millimeter skin tag i had on the side of my neck. Holy $hit did it burn soo bad🫠 like battery acid and did not even work! I live out in the country, so the idea of going to a doctor for a wart is, well let's just leave it at "ain't gonna happen... Ever", but one time I had this plantar wart that hurt like a sonofabitch and someone had brought a bunch of dry ice home, so I froze that fkr out with dry ice and some tweezers. I'm not sayin it was necessarily smart, but that damn thing hasn't ever bothered to pop up again. Hell of a lot cheaper than those wart remover keyboard cleaner with a q-tip on a WD 40 straw too

I went in for lip filler just in my top for personal reasons. Made it very clear I didn't want it anywhere else. She went to inject my bottom lip as I'd be never spoke at all. Whwn I pulled away and told her, I don't want that, she acted all surprised. Then she wanted to inject thw corners of my mouth and my smile lines. I told her I would get rid of them naturally. The 2nd nurse kept pushing and when I told ger I do t want to kwep just injecting shit in my face, shw looked surprised, shocked and partially offended. Like that annoyed her. They're like medical gas lighters. Moral of story: don't go to a plastic surgeon first. Their are other avenues.

I don’t know how it looked before or how long ago she did it, but there’s seems to be some sort of mark where she pointed. So it’s really hard to believe this worked well or worked at all for her specifically.
