The Transcendental Argument for God's Existence is the worst of all arguments for God's existence, because it not only fails but undermines itself and all other logical arguments for God's existence. So, anyone who relies on another argument to prove God's existence must reject the Transcendental Argument.

TAG is logical proof. Now these two guys run terrible versions of TAG, and Matt is not smart at all, I've personally spoken to Matt. If you want to have a conversation about TAG find Jay Dyer he is very patient and calm (discord is in his youtube about page) he is a legit philosopher, and you'll find Deacon Annanius there too. And if you want another flavor of this argument find Darth Dawkins... hes probably in clun house it would be difficult to find him.

Matt Slick is a lousy philosopher/theologian. Protestantism isn't Christianity anyway. You would be better to be an atheist than a Protestant. In fact, Protestantism and Evangelicalism have converted more people to atheism because they are rooted in Monism which depersonalizes God. Protestant theology says you can only know God through analogy. That is why the Protestant reformation was based on the analogy of faith. The Reformers adopted the doctrine of absolute divine simplicity from the Roman Catholic Church. That doctrine comes from Plato's doctrine of the Monad which became the doctrine of God in Western traditions of Christianity. The only religion in the world that self consciously apposes Monism and Dualism is Eastern Orthodoxy. Orthodoxy's doctrine of God is very different for this reason. I wonder if the guy in this video would be interested in a conversational style debate on the transcendental arguments with an Orthodox philosopher and theologian? Matt Slick is the easy guy to debate. Go debate Jay Dyer instead of Matt Slick and see how much harder the debate becomes. I think this video does a disservice because it spreads more confusion than clarity. If you want to hear a world-class philosopher listen to the most recent debate between Stefan Molyneux vs Jay Dyer: The Purpose of Philosophy. Jay Dyer has many videos on what transcendental arguments are and why people misdefine what they are.

Tell me you don't understand TAG without telling me you don't understand TAG. Not giving God the glory for your logical proofs is completely different than doing logical proofs without God. God is there and he's the reason you can do logical proofs even if you don't give him the glory for that ability. Your acknowledgment of that fact has nothing to do with whether or not God is the foundation of logic.

I've recently watched a couple of your videos and appreciate the video. The first site you reviewed is a bit unique and interesting in the format and conclusion. I do have a question about your rebuttal of the TAG argument from Matt Slick. You refuted point 2 about logic being conceptual. My question is if its not conceptual, then what is it? You call them an abstraction, but the blatant question would be where do abstractions come from in a purely materialistic world as by nature they are immaterial? That puts us right back in the hands of the TAG proponents.

You're still straddling the position you're set against by arguing that logic/truth exists eternally and independently of sentient beings thinking these things. Also consider to revise your definition of existence.
