Original Video:

For the first time on the channel, we are checking out Blondie with their song "Heart Of Glass." Musically, this was such a fun one with so many synths and arpeggiators leading the charge. Blondie definitely has a very unique sound and the video was hilarious! I love exploring artists I'm unfamiliar with so let me know more about Blondie in the comments below! Hope you enjoy! #reaction #blondie #heartofglass #70smusic #70smusichits #musicreactions

Such a unique voice! What should I check out next from Blondie?!

The singer's name is actually Debbie Harry. The band is Blondie. Common mistake. And yes, she was a big deal. Three platinum albums in a row in the late 70s, early 80s.

Blondie is an American rock & new wave band co-founded by singer Debbie Harry & guitarist Chris Stein. They had a lot of great hits in the 70's-90's such as "Call Me", "Atomic", "The Tide Is High", “Rapture”, "Picture This", "Hanging On The Telephone", "I'm Gonna Love You Too", "One Way Or Another", "Sunday Girl", "Island Of Lost Souls", "War Child", "Maria" etc.

BLONDIE WERE AHEAD OF THEIR GAME!!! Debbie Harry was an ICONIC frontwoman - she had such an impact on female vocalists - her voice, style and looks - she was an one off! PLEASE REACT to 'Atomic', 'Call Me', 'Heart Of Glass', 'Sunday Girl', 'One Way and Another', 'Hangin On The Telephone' - great band - Saw them about 5 years ago at a big music festival - crowd went WILD! More BLONDIE please!👱‍♀🤘

March 28, 1981 Debra Harry appears on MTV with her song RAPTURE, the first song featuring rap music on TV. A definite HAVE TO HEAR for any reaction critic.

Blondie was a crossover band. Rock, pop, progressive and disco crowds all love them.

Love Debbie Harry’s voice ❤…..Heart of Glass is from the album Parallel Lines. Came out in late 1978.

Fun fact: Blondies Rapture was the first rap song to reach number 1 and it basically launched the rap genre.

Debbie Harry and Kate Bush had pride of place on my bedroom wall! Blondie had loads of hits in the UK. Picture this, Hanging on the telephone, Dreaming, Atomic and Union City Blue are among my favourites. Cheers

I was six when this came out. When I saw this video on TV she was so beautiful, I thought she must be an angel. 😂

Clem Burke's a great drummer. Miming along to his offbeat hi-hats back then as a boy is how I learned to disassociate my right hand from right foot.

Had tickets to see Blondie, 3 days ago (the 25th), but sadly the August & September shows got canceled.
Been listening to Blondie since I was a kid. Heart, Debbie Harry, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna and Pat Benatar were the heavy hitters, back in the day. With MTV, we got to see interviews, and behind the scenes stuff, plus music videos all the time. Our musical heroes were never far away. It was the best time for music, tv, & movies.

More Blondie songs:
▪︎Call Me
▪︎Rapture
▪︎One Way or Another
▪︎The Tide Is High
▪︎Hanging on the Telephone

The group is Blondie, Debby Harry is the lead singer

The band Blondie was pre Cyndi Lauper and Madonna. Blondie was multi-platinum before the other two were even on the scene.

Clem Burke is one the most innovative and overlooked/underrated drummers in the last 50 years. And he is still touring with Blondie
