@Zeykieee You are multiplying both sides by x. So it becomes 3*x/x=4*x/y (not 3y/x and 4x/y). then it becomes 3=4*x/y.
You now multiply both sides by y (so you can make the expression look simpler) so as above, it becomes
3*y = 4*x. With that expression it becomes simple to interpret.
