Today was my first day. Live on long Island and drove from 12pm to 4pm and made $72.05. I did go way out of my delivery zone and was not aware of how things worked. But I did great and I even got a $20 tip. I will continue getting better and learning.

Hot bag was a huge tip that someone like me didn’t even realize. I work full time as an accountant and do this in the evenings just for something to do and to get an extra $400 or so per week to use however I want.

One thing I'd add on is, if you go to a pick up and it's been picked up by someone else aka they stole it, call and cancel the order, if not it gets recycled to other drivers for more money and they have to waste time going to said pick up

I started doing Doordash recently and end up being completely frustrated (since the focus is so heavy on acceptance rate, and I've made several 20+ mile trips for $6).
