Boeing and Lockheed were never going to make any rockets reusable as long as they could keep charging $200 million + to the government (in 1980's dollars) for a launch. The EELV program of the 1990s was all about increasing reliability, not about reducing costs.

I saw a snip of the interview in the last episode and my brain was blown.
I could write a book on this subject without thinking about it.
Humanitarian first
Tesla- no one believed and laughed. Success and proved them all wrong.
Space X - took the lesser end of a multimillion dollar deal from the United States govt and proved not only his heroes wrong, but also the rest who said they could not compete with the likes of Boeing, but yet Space X will rescue stranded astronauts from the ISS due to Starliner failure.
Twitter- Took the brand and reshaped the company into a better platform we now know as X.
Neuralink, Boring Co, and a super advanced robot named Optimus that will help us all in daily life in the near future along with the anticipated Robotaxi that will utilize the Gen 1 Cybercab.

I don’t know about the rest, but I am locked in as a huge supporter of Mr Musk and believe in him.

Always a problem when television and movies have astronauts landing on planets or travelling at warp and doing it in one hour. The public expects the same and expects SpaceX to light the candle yesterday. Just don't get bored, these things take time.

Looking forward to reading this from an historical perspective. As an engineer, I'd love a more "technical" book chronicling the engineering, design, and manufacturing decisions made during Falcon 9's journey to the Block 5 vehicle. Years ago, you could buy such books on airplanes and such from the AIAA, but there of course isn't one for the Falcon 9. Maybe one day Elon will open up the records and such a book could be written.

Not Only Space Industry, Elon Musk have an impact over the Industry all over the world

There are two heroic space histories. The first from nazi V2 weapons to Gagarin's first orbit, to the Apollo landings. It was pushing the limits, JPL did the Viking mars landers and the Voyagers to the outer planets, all with tech that was nowhere near up to the job. Then who knows what happened with shuttle or the ISS. Now the second history is SpaceX doing amazing things, pushing the limits of technology again.
