Not to be “that” person, but the name “Daly” is pronounced “Daily.” (I live in Hamilton, and Marcus Daly is our towns founder & hero!) Thanks for featuring our beautiful state!! Come see us!

There's so many haunted places here in Montana. I think it's partly because of how much pride we take in our history. There's a few mini castles spread across the state that are extremely haunted, many many more ghost towns, "haunted" bodies of water and trails, and my personal favorite the "haunted" cities under billings, butte, and haver (I'm sure there's more I just don't know about, but the Prohibition tunnels I know about are definitely interesting and eerie.

Surprised that Twin Bridges Orphanage isn’t on the list. A haunted place with a horrible history.

I didn't even see anything on Butte, there's a few places that could've been on this list. Well you all have a good day, 👋 to all the fellow montanans

You've got some good places listed on here. I live in Montana and I can verify the whole flipping state is haunted. You should check out the town of Livingston.

I love that you use the word Pop. My family in Chicago use that word. Down here in Louisiana we call it Coke, it's like if ordering at a restaurant you ask for a Coke and the waitress will ask what kind and you say back whether you want a Coke, Sprite, 7-Up or whatever. Coke is a general term for Pop not just a brand.

I knew my hometown would be the first one this list! The Old Prison is known for the scary ghostly screams you can hear of the inmates, as well as the feeling of being g touched and scratched. Not to mention Jerry's Riot where they had to call the National Guard to quell it and blew the side of one of the cell block towers with a bazooka blast. No wonder it's still so haunted!

The Many Glacier Hotel makes me think of The Shining. Seeing that it's haunted along with the snow outside gives me that kind of vibe.

Ellen Baumler has written several books about haunted places in montana as well as Helena. There is a cemetery in Virginia city that is all children. They died of small pox. Anyway there are toys and dolls that move from grave to grave as well as the sound of children playing. In Helena there is the red room in placer place that is so disturbing that most people are hard pressed to spend more than a minute or two. The grand theatre also has a victorian woman who shows up in the womens bathroom and backstage. Most women won't go to that bathroom by themselves. And there is also readers alley. Where the miners lived in the late 1800s. There have been many sightings that have happened there. And the battlefield of little bighorn is also haunted.

I was born and raised in Montana, never lived anywhere else. I can tell you there are many haunted places in this state. You touched on some of our popular ones, there are many places with paranormal activity: Garnet Ghost Town, Lolo Hot Springs, Missoula...they are everywhere.

You forgot literally one of the most haunted towns, West Yellowstone. Every street you walk, every building your in whether it's old or new, is haunted. I've lived there for half of my life and have endless experiences in every part of that village town.

I live in montana. I live a few blocks away from where that b-17 crashed. Have also been to many of these locations. Virginia city is a very cool place. It’s like a step back in history
