I have a TEENY TINY backyard, it’s 16X16’ I chose to give that space to my 14 chickens and do grow bags on my patio for potatoes and I got a Tower Garden Aeroponic system for indoors! I also have limited mobility due to a spinal issue. But my tower garden allows me to grow 40 plants indoors with grow lights in 2 square feet of space. I’m growing zucchini, lettuce, dwarf tomatoes, eggplants, strawberries, fennel, spinach, cucumbers, peppers, acorn squash, and pak choi all in the corner of my kitchen!!! It was the best investment I’ve made and I no longer have to buy fresh produce from the store. I grow all these things year round and Tower Garden has an interest free payment schedule for 12 months.

I have been dealing with chronic back pain for years. Last winter i collected 5 gal buckets and my son brought me some pallets. I put legs on the pallets and put my buckets on top and grew my vegetables. I also used bird seed bags and dog food bags to plant in. It was so much easier on my back and i actually grew enough to can and add to my pantry stock.

Thank you so much for this video and the encouragement! I have become a "front porch container gardener", no room for a full garden BUT a container garden is doable. So much fun and even at my young age (soon to be 70 😀) I am learning. I started with potatoes in a cardboard box, onions in a big pot and carrots when the weather was still cool here in SE Oklahoma. Did well with potatoes and onions but lost my carrots to some green worms 😕 but will try again. Now I'm growing sweet potatoes in the cardboard box and Bush beans in the large pot. I also have herbs, a tomato plant and strawberries. Small but very satisfying to know I can grow these. Thank you for all the info you share. God is good!!! My next endeavor is lettuce 😊

Last year I did my 1st Fall Garden! My Garlic-nothing. Broccoli-3 of 12 plants made it-went to seed. Onions-wow! Great harvest-didnt dry good and we lost it all. 3 types Lettuces we ate off of all Winter! Collards, Celery and Turnips exploded into a grand bounty!-dehydrated and powdered a ton to add to our food.

This year I am gonna try Radishes, Beets, Broccoli, Collards, Garlic, Onions, Lettuce.

I just keep on. I pray, I talk to plants, I weed. I just keep on. This past Spring was my 2nd year Gardening. I have fallen in Love with it 🌱🌿🍅! I'm almost 59. My Mom says of all her children she never thought I'd be her Gardener - Homesteader - Joseph! 😂 Thank you both for your recommendations and tips! 😊

We love our container garden. My husband built 2 last summer and we have replanted lettuce, beans cucumbers and tomatoes in them and washer tubs for fall. Thank you for the continued great information and encouragement. I'll check into getting some onion and garlic planted this week. It's so rewarding to est from our garden!!❤

Yes i agree! I wish i could afford a homestead but right now isn't feasible so i am starting a garden on my balcony of my house i rent. I live in military housing. I have a big balcony, and i am planning on growing a garden with raised beds, grow bags, and pots. I am learning how to make as much food as i can so i don't depend on the grocery store and i starting prepping. Thank you for the encouragement.

I have try growing growing soft neck garlic for two years…I have had no luck with them. I live in southern Florida. but, I am not giving up. Will try again this year. You guys just produced another great video. Love both your channels. Have a great day in the Lord. 🙏🙋🏻‍♀️
