Seiko 5 GMT CHANGED MY MIND About Seiko!! I was a Seiko HATER... Well.. Maybe not hater... INDIFFERENT to Seiko until my amazing friend Luke let me borrow his Seiko 5 GMT. It completely changed my mind about Seiko and now I NEEEED OOOONE!

Love Seiko or hate them. You can’t deny that they’ve probably done more to put watches on peoples wrists (not just watch enthusiasts) than almost any other brand

Seiko is the gateway to other luxury watches down the line. Not many of us were fortunate to go luxury right away. Glad you gave them a chance and liked this particular Seiko.

I own the orange model and even with the different metal finishes there’s just something about the mix of gray, gold, shimmery orange, and the light silver seconds hand with the hidden 2 tone bezel it’s just fantastic🙈

Seiko fan here and you can’t go wrong with this one! If you want to spend more then there’s always the Grand Seiko range! Unlike Rolex, no waitlist and grovelling to the AD…. You can always mod the watch with a sapphire crystal, the options are endless and you have a unique watch.

Same here just purchased my first Seiko SRPJ49 Super Cub and I’m loving it. The NATO strap is really comfortable. I’m actually liking it more than my Swiss watches. The Lume is badass. I think I might just go out and buy another. 😂

Seiko is up there for me and grand seiko is my favorite high end watch company by quite a wide margin, their dials are just stunning, nothing like them anywhere else

I own Rolexes.... So many Jewelers would ask me why do you want a Rolex??? But really my ego wanted a Owning a Rolex was not a good experience for me... Especially when it comes to customer service and that sort of vibe Then one day I discovered a Seiko All the Jewelers were trying to show me citizens and Seikos are number one in house movement.... Japanese also have the Cool secret they don't tell They don't even advertise the blessing you're going to get from your❤❤❤😂

Had my 5 Sports GMT (003/Batman) over a month, and I'm totally smitten with it. Seiko pretty much nailed the important details, making it not *just* an outstanding GMT for the money, but just an overall great watch, period. Haap to see you seem to mostly agree. :-)

Seiko offers good value - but do note that you do get what you pay for - usually. In horology the movement, dial, case and bracelet/strap all go towards the price. Economies of scale also apply as does marketing costs and of course profit.

Hi i need help with a question that i have… I got the same watch but mine doesn’t say anywhere “made in Japan” . I have seen other watches of the same that actually said “made in Japan” in the front and the back. Why is that??
